Sniper rifles are extremely overpowered. Is there anything in future updates that would lower their power? Or will the game steer into One gun gaming?

Good question.

There are a bunch of different changes incoming in the next update that will affect the effectiveness of Sniper Rifles. To begin with, a normal headshot with a sniper will not be a “one shot kill” anymore.

To balance this, the headshot hitboxes for snipers will be enlarged slightly to compensate, meaning it will be slightly easier for snipers to achieve a Brick Shot.

When the next patch arrives, accessories and clothes will also provide an armor rating. This new addition will mean that each piece of armor will make it harder for snipers to kill you in 1 shot with a sniper.

Improve your game: Hitboxes Explained

During the course of the closed beta we’ve seen numerous discussions emerge regarding the existence or the possible size of hitboxes in Brick-Force.

For those of you who may not know, in shooter games a hitbox is the term used to describe the invisible area in which you can make an impact on a player. In Brick-Force, head shots make a much stronger impact.

Some of the more serious players have already recognized that the closer you shoot to the center of an opponent’s head, the higher chance you have of landing a head shot.

To demonstrate, here’s a visual representation of a hitbox in Brick-Force. As shown, there’s a smaller area within the head that we’ve labeled the brain. Hitting the brain is often challenging, but will always guarantee a headshot.
