E3 Day Three: Build & Destroy

The final day of E3 began with a big American breakfast. Once we arrived at the Los Angeles convention center, we spent some time enjoying the new Build & Destroy mode before the first journalists arrived.

This new mode is great fun and the potential is definitely there. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Build & Destory, the concept is simple. The map is divided in the center for the first 2 minutes 40 seconds and players must use this time to build as much as they can on their side of the map, before the curtain is raised.

We had a lot of fun trying to set up traps and even tried making “moats” or large holes in the ground. We are sure that clans and teams will come up with some very creative strategies, and we can’t wait to see it in action with 16 players!

Imagine the creative possibilities of building with your clan under time pressure!

Throughout the day our E3 meeting room was full of press and players who wanted a chance to check out the game and talk to us about its development. We were flattered by the responses of some of our visitors - one person even told us “Brick-Force is the most innovative thing I’ve seen at E3”.

We hope that you’ll feel the same way when you get your hands on our new playmodes in the near future!

E3 DAY TWO: Defense mode in the Spotlight

We ventured out into the heat of the LA summer on Wednesday morning to experience the second day of our E3 adventure.

The convention hall was completely packed and the passion for gaming that we witnessed was inspiring.

Showcasing our two brand new game modes for the first time; visitors to our booth were able to get hands-on play time with new content and find out about our future development plans. Visitors such as PC Gamer, MMORPG.com, onRPG and Joystick.fr dropped by on our second day in Los Angeles.

After witnessing some super shooting skills, we decided to keep track of how many waves of monsters our visitors managed to defeat. So far, the YouTuber’s from Machinima are the record-holders after they managed to get to the 23rd wave!

The feedback for the new Defense mode was good. The power ups and leveling system was popular, and many seemed to like the fact that map builders can choose the spawn points and routes that the monsters take in their maps.

Thank you to Alienware for providing the M17x laptops for the show, and thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi and check out Brick-Force.

We will be back on Thursday, hungry for more!
